What you need

Miss 3 had a ball... (AND SO DID I!!)
This would also be a great wrapping paper idea!

Peg Dolls

These holidays we didn't go away. I therefore needed to find some fun craft activities to keep my little princesses busy!

To be honest, I am not sure who had more fun creating peg dolls.....the girls or me!!!

This is a fairly simple activity, all you need is:
  • a packet of wooden doll pegs (I found a packet of 8 for $2 and a local Red Dollar store)
  • some scrap fabric (or you could use paper)
  • a black sharpie (or pen)
  • some craft glue and scissors

This activity is great for all ages. This craft was enjoyed by myself 31, Princess 1yr, Princess 3yrs and a neghbour 9yrs.

We then had hours of fun afterwards using them in the dolls house and creating little plays and games with our new friends.

Give it a go!

Preschool Morning Tea bags

Back to Preschool

I can’t believe we are now in Term 2 of Princess 1’s Preschool year! She loves going so much and has really missed it over the holidays.

We need to send morning tea in a paper bag each day. I decided to get my craft on and add a little touch to make it special for her. Each morning she loves sorting through the pile of paper bags and choosing her one for the day.

I used a collection of free vintage clipart on the internet. All my images were found on these sites.

Cut out the clipart and stick onto your paper bag. Using a black sharpie, write your child’s name.

 It’s as simple as that!
Enjoy!!

Australian Museum

Sunday Funday

Last Sunday we took advantage of the Sunday Funday rail pass ($2.50 on public transport with children). We caught the train into the city and changed trains for Museum. We walked through Hyde Park to The Australian Museum. What a fantastic day we had!

Miss 1 taking a photo of Miss 2 on the train ride....well sort of!

A few tips

*Museum costs $12 (adult) , children $5 and UNDER 5 FREE!!

*we didn’t really need our pram once we were safely in the Museum. We were able to park it up on level 2 outside the under 5’s area.

* arrived at opening time (9:30am) and there were very  few people .*We headed straight to the under 5’s section and were the only people there. There was so much for the girls to explore. We then headed straight to the Level 2 Search and Discover section. Later in the day these areas were much busier.

* I was really impressed with how much hands on experiences were available for the children.

*we comfortably explored the museum in half a day.

*they also have a cafe with colouring activities to entertain the kids!!!

*as we packed our own lunch, our day only cost $29. A very cheap day out in the city if you ask me! !

Princess 1 is still asking to go back a week later.....

Have a great day
Jess

Hello People in bloggy land....

I have wanted to start my own blog for sometime now. After reading so many creative, inspiring and beautiful blogs I decided it was time for me to join the party!

I am Jess. A mother of two beautiful princesses.  I love all things DISNEY, crafty, handmade and girly. I love party planning and always have a party or event in my head.

I live in Australia and find there is a massive gap and lack of information for people travelling to the Disney theme parks. I hope this blog will help some people plan their trips to the happiest place on earth.

I love crafting with my little girls and love finding new and exciting things that we can create together.

Last year I started a little handmade appliqué tshirt hobby “Alice & Henry”. I love creating unique creations for my family and friends.

I love all things craft... especially scrapbooking, my recently started PROJECT LIFE, mosaic, cross stitch and sewing.

And lastly....PARTY THEMES...I LOVE PLANNING A PARTY. My girls birthdays are both in September and I am already busy in planning mode!

Thankyou for being with me on this Journey!

Sprinkled with pixie dust,

Jess  ºoº
